Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations on the production floor. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining workflow efficiency, and coordinating between design, printing, finishing, and packaging departments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor including printing, cutting, foiling, embossing, binding, and packaging.
• Allocate tasks to workers and ensure timelines are met for all orders.
• Inspect and maintain quality standards throughout all stages of production.
• Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of printing and finishing machines.
• Coordinate with the design and sales team to understand job specifications and timelines.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and packaging supplies.
• Train new floor staff and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.
• Solve floor-level problems quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure cleanliness, discipline, and organized workflow in the production area.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on production output and staff performance.

Requirements :

• Proven experience (2–5 years) as a floor supervisor or similar role in a printing, packaging, or design studio.
• Strong understanding of printing techniques (offset, digital, screen printing, etc.) and finishing processes (die-cutting, lamination, foil stamping, etc.).
• Familiarity with designer invitation card materials and custom packaging standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel or production management software is a plus.
