Job Description:

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / BI Developer with strong Power BI and Python skills to build insightful dashboards and light applications that empower business decisions.
You will translate complex business asks into clear, actionable visualisations and small‑scale tools, with minimal hand‑holding.
You will work closely with analytics and engineering teams to design scalable reporting solutions and lightweight front‑end applications.

Major Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards that are intuitive, performant, and aligned with business goals (30%).
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns to support advanced analytics and dynamic reporting. Maintain documentation, version control, and best practices for dashboards and code. (30%).
• Translate complex business questions into clear, actionable dashboards, owning requirements gathering and validation with stakeholders (5%).
• Build small‑scale applications or front‑ends using your experience with Java / React / HTML to expose data insights or workflows (20%).
• Use Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation of reporting pipelines; SQL is a strong plus for querying and modeling data (10%).
• Collaborate with Tableau users to ensure consistency across BI tools and progressively shift or complement Tableau use cases where needed (5%).

Education - 

 Experience building applications or front‑ends using Java / React / HTML (or similar web‑tech stack).

Some Tableau experience (creating dashboards, reports, or migrating content).

Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts (joins, optimization, schema understanding).

Familiarity with Git/version control, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a 

Work time - 10.00am to 5.00pm

Work Days - Mon to fri

It will be on third party payroll of Talisman HR Solutions Pvt Ltd
