Job Description 

This entry level Business Analyst role is designed for a recent graduate with a Data Science or analytics background who will support reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis activities. The role will assist and drive reporting in Power BI, support SharePoint sites and processes, and will help with maintenance tasks to support the multiple global systems applications for the service user community. The role will assist with various project related tasks and needs good organizational and presentation skills. The position offers strong learning opportunities and exposure to enterprise data and reporting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create standard and ad hoc reports using structured datasets from approved sources

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business and operational reporting

• Perform basic data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into clear visual insights

• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation of manual processes

• Document report logic, data definitions, and data sources following documentation standards

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and opportunities through data analysis

• Strong foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and reporting concepts

• Experience with Power BI Desktop including datasets, visuals, and basic DAX calculations

• Exposure to SQL for basic data querying

• Familiarity with Excel for reporting and data analysis

• Understanding of KPIs, metrics, and performance reporting

 Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field is required.

• Exposure to SDLC, change management, and testing methodologies

• Basic understanding of business analysis concepts such as requirements gathering and process mapping
