Department: Supply Chain & Logistics
Reports To: Operations / Director
Position Summary
The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement coordination,
inventory planning, warehousing, transportation, cold chain management, distribution and customer order fulfilment.
The role ensures timely product availability while maintaining quality, food safety, operational efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Plan demand, inventory and replenishment to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
- Manage warehouse operations, stock accuracy and FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Oversee cold chain logistics for milk, dairy products and temperature-sensitive goods.
- Manage transportation, route planning and distributor deliveries.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, Quality Assurance and Finance teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and reduce wastage, expiry and shrinkage.
- Track logistics KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage third-party logistics providers and transport vendors.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety, statutory and company standards.
- Prepare supply chain MIS, forecasts and management reports.
- Lead, coach and develop the logistics and warehouse teams.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Commerce or Business Administration.
MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
Experience
8–12 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing and logistics, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Experience in dairy, food processing, FMCG or cold chain operations is preferred.
