Job Description : 

Role: To have sound understanding of production detailing in the field of exhibitions & interior fit outs.  To facilitate accurate costing and overall execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for drafting construction details, elevations, sections, and contributing by giving inputs to the creative teams with regards to practicality of structures & stability from build and budget perspective. 
• Assisting 3D designers , visualizes and the studio with selection of appropriate materials that suit the clients budget and brief.
• To make detailed BOQ’s , and production drawings/ views in a simplified format with a high level of accuracy for production. 
• To proactively seek feedback from production, costing and operations head to ensure al production details are feasible for execution within budget and timeframes.
• To consistently deliver and make project and task deadlines on, or ahead of the scheduled delivery date.
• Producing construction documents, working individually on smaller projects and as part of a team on larger projects. 
• Organizing and archiving project data and materials in a specific office managed format.
• Site supervision as and when directed by teams depending on the complexity of the project. 
• Strong knowledge of various services involved in the exhibition, events, retail and visual merchandising industry. 
• Co-ordination with costing department, shop floor manager and finally head carpenters for execution of projects.
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to manage  multiple tasks and schedules
• Coordinating with Consultant, contractors & vendor to complete the project within time limit.
• To liaison with contractors, vendors & agencies as per the design and details provided to them and ensure quality and deliverables are maintained. 
• Checking the bill of the contractor on the site & certifying the same as per BOQ’s as and when required by the company. 
• Advise on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, materials and color coordination.
• To study and draw floor plans and elevations. Developing detailed designs. 
  Supervising the works and coordinate for completion on special projects.
• Design and planning of interior projects.  To prepare working drawings as well as presentation  drawings, to perform site visits and recces for projects.
• To visit the factory as and when required to ensure all drawings understood by production teams and workers to achieve desired results. 
• To works closely with the costing department, to ensure that all elements in the Boq’s are correct and understood by the costing team.
• Keeping a regular follow up of day to day work in the factory with regards to stages in production

Professional and Technical Experience:

• Proficient with AutoCAD and computer software utilized in the studio
• Strong understanding of construction methods & Materials
• Extensive knowledge of computer operation and office CAD standards
• Making of detail drawings required for execution for Exhibition’s, Retail stores, Kiosks, Wall Bays, Gondolas for production. 
• Familiar with CAD, Corel & CNC routing files as and when required.
• To be familiar with and conduct research materials, construction methods applicable to our industry. 
• Handling problematic  situations on-site as and when required.
• Preparing Progress Reports for various sites & communicating the same. 
• Planning & Execution of Visual merchandising with maintaining standard corporate identity & image for existing & new   outlets.
•   SOLID EDGE V19, V20: 2D Drafting, Solid modeling & Assembly.
•   SOLIDWORKS : 2D Drafting, Solid modeling & Assembly. 
•   FABRIWIN.(Developing and Programming)
•   CNC. CAD/CAM(Developing and Programming)
